Presenters:

David E. Fisher, MD, PhD

David E. Fisher, MD, PhD, is chief of the Massachusetts General Hospital Department of Dermatology. He also serves as director of Mass General’s Cutaneous Biology Research Center and director of the Melanoma Center. Dr. Fisher is Professor of Dermatology and of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School. His research has focused on understanding the molecular and genetic events which underlie formation of melanoma as well as skin pigmentation. As a clinician, he has worked to translate these understandings into advances in diagnosis, treatment and prevention of human diseases related to the skin and associated disorders. Dr. Fisher is a 2020 inductee into the National Academy of Medicine.

Dr. Jennifer Lin 

Jennifer Lin is currently the Director of the Melanoma Risk and Prevention Clinic (formerly Pigmented Lesion Clinic) at the BWH Department of Dermatology and also directs the dermatology component of the Dana Farber Cancer Institute’s Melanoma Program. She is passionate about caring for her patients and participating in research involving early detection and intervention, and topical treatments of melanoma.
