Areas of Utilization
IMPACT Melanoma and the Practice Safe Skin program are dedicated to reducing the risk of skin cancer. Protecting one’s self from harmful UV rays by applying sunscreen when spending time outdoors is one of the best preventative measures in combatting the potential for skin cancer – and is exactly the focus with our Practice Safe Skin initiative program. In 2014, the Surgeon General touted skin cancer as a major public health concern and initiated a Call to Action to Prevent Skin Cancer. IMPACT Melanoma answered the call by partnering with Bright Guard to provide automatic sunscreen dispensers nationwide!
The program has been a resounding success, branching out in 2016 across the country, including:
- Atlanta
- Tampa
- New York City
- Nevada
- Boston
- Gainesville
- Michigan
We have slathered all 50 states in sunscreen, installing sunscreen dispensers in a variety of settings, such as:
- Outdoor Worksites
- Parks and Recreation Facilities
- Pools and Splash Pads
- Municipalities
- Health Departments
- Schools / Universities
- Daycare Centers
- Country Clubs
