Join us as we discuss our new program No Sun For Babies and why UPF clothing is so important, especially for newborns. Ali Lowther will tell you how to care for your UPF fabric so it lasts as long as possible in addition to how to reducing the risk of skin cancer by protecting yourself from the sun. Nicole Kounalakis, MD will talk about how important sun protection is for infants and why Northside Hospital partnered with IMPACT through our No Sun For Babies program that provides new parents UPF clothing and sun safety tips needed to protect their newborns from Ultraviolet Light. Sun safe behavior begins at birth and lasts a lifetime!

A melanoma diagnosis can often be a vulnerable time in a person’s life. IMPACT provides support to melanoma patients and caregivers through our support groups and our Billy’s Buddies peer one on one support program. Please join us to discuss these services. We will be joined by a trained Billy’s Buddies volunteer and a participant of one of our support groups as they discuss their melanoma journey and how our support programming has been beneficial along the way.
