Help IMPACT Amplify Austin March 5th – 6th!
Amplify Austin is coming up on March 5th-6th.
Amplify Austin Day is the Central Texas region’s day of giving. It’s a local generosity movement that connects individuals, families, businesses, and foundations with the causes they are passionate about to create real, lasting change for the local nonprofits that address our most pressing needs. On Amplify Austin Day, gifts have the opportunity to be amplified through matching gifts and challenges, hourly prize incentives, and through the I Live Here I Give Here Amplify Fund, which is distributed to all participating nonprofits. Over the past seven years, Amplify Austin Day has raised more than $57 million for hundreds of local nonprofits.
LIVESTRONG is proud to announce that they will be awarding a match of $10,000 to nonprofits with cancer focused missions through their Community Solution Grant program. Austin is LIVESTRONG’s hometown and they are thrilled to support the critical work of local participating organizations within the cancer space. The need for these services is more important than ever. Cancer is the #1 cause of death in Travis County – and more Austinites than ever are living with cancer. LIVESTRONG believes that survivors in Austin deserve more than just hope for a better tomorrow – they deserve a better today.
LIVESTRONG will be matching cancer-related cause funding up to $10,000 and Tito’s Vodka will be matching donations up to $10,000 if donors use the tag #lovetitos. We at IMPACT can benefit from these invaluable matching funds and the overall outreach provided by this Amplify event and we’re asking for your help.
Anyone, anywhere can easily fundraise for IMPACT Melanoma by clicking on the Fundraise button. Tell the story of why IMPACT’s work is important to you and share on your social channels and/or via email. Our supporters can also share IMPACT’s posts on Facebook and Instagram to spread the word to help us conduct our critically important programming in Texas. We thank you so much in advance!
